Preamp

Octal preamp tubes have a wider tonal spectrum and sound more relaxed and revealing with less compression than later 9 pin versions.
The 3-band EQ covers an extended frequency range from rich, fat, warm to bright, thin and chimey tonal ranges.
The 6SJ7 input pentode embraces big, rich and detailed input signals.
The EQ can be bypassed for flat-frequency response.
Master Volume is true-bypass when turned all the way up.

Line Out

The Deuce Stereo has a built in LAS -Live Amp Sound- Line Out ™ with Level control and XLR low impedance outputs.
It mimics the characteristics of a moving voice coil from a speaker and provides an attenuated signal.

Power Amp

A pair of 6V6 tubes per channel in self-biasing class A push-pull gives 18 Watts per side and speaker in Stereo mode.
In Mono mode both preamp channels get combined after the Master Volume producing 36 Watts from both speakers combined.

Speakers

Two Custom Low Profile 17 oz. Nashville Alnico with their wide frequency range and 'grand piano' bell-like chime further reveal the detail of the signals going into the inputs of the amp.

User Feedback:

Chris,

I received the amp yesterday. I would have e-mailed you sooner, but I've been locked into a world of stereo delays and the most lush reverbs I've ever heard. This amp is so intense man !
I can not believe the clarity and the warmth of the sounds I am getting out of it. Besides the fact that it looks like a work of art it sure as hell sounds like one too.
I thought I was going to miss my fender twin, but this blows that amp out of the water. It does exactly what I needed when I bypass the EQ section and let my pedals shape the sound. I am even hearing dimension out of my strymon timeline that I never heard before.

I still need to wrap my brain around how the amp works when running in Mono and if there is a certain side I am supposed to plug into. I also don't know if running in mono and have EQ turned on if one side controls both speakers or if they both need to be balanced the same.

It does not matter that much because 90% of the time I will be running in stereo with the EQ bypassed.

I want to thank you again for all of the hard work and craftsmanship you put into this amp. It really is something special for me and it will be one of my prized possessions forever.

Thank You,
Jason Tuchman - Pistol Studios
